Aloni (threshing floor). A magical spot, taken from the deep past of Mykonos, integrated into the absolute beauty of the KALESMA hotel. The place that inspired the performance "The light of Apollo". And while you sit and enjoy the sunset, Delos rises like a nymph opposite, the point with the most beautiful and intense light in the Mediterranean, the island of Apollo's birth. The one magical element brings the other: Apollo, the god of light, music, divination, beauty and intellect. And all come together to become the ingredients of this free retelling of the myth of this captivating god, set in the idyllic landscape of KALESMA. Purpose of the directorial approach is to shed light on a page of Greek mythology while at the same time offering, through mild actions of high aesthetics, a unique experience for the guest.
Images that will fill the hotel space from the morning hours, traveling the guest's imagination and senses to another era, distant and white like the marble of the sculptures of Delos. Ancient gods woo by dancing. Zoomorphic symbols come to life reminding us of the endless beauty of nature. Mortals seek their destiny and oracles scramble to take on flesh and blood. A mythological game of discovery, culminating in the ritual action that will take place at sunset in Aloni. The main performance will have live atmospheric music of electronic aesthetics and using as a vehicle the myth of Apollo, will bridge the hotel area with Delos. A spiritual ritual, with traditional ancient Greek elements, in the international language of music and movement, will create a sensual and unforgettable experience, complementing the highly aesthetic hospitality of the hotel. A bridge with the past of Greek antiquity and the magical here and now of KALESMA Hotel.
